## Payment and KYC

### Do I need to verify my identity to buy proxies?

No. LatamProxies never asks for an ID card, a passport, a selfie or company documents. You open an account with an account number, choose a plan and pay in crypto. An email address is optional. No KYC is about privacy and speed, not about breaking rules: every account follows our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://latamproxies.com/acceptable-use-policy/), and abuse ends in termination.

### How does payment work?

You top up your LatamProxies balance in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) with a minimum of $25, then buy any product in any country from that balance — residential GB, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile GB. Unused balance stays on your account for your next plan (it never expires and is not refundable). No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents.

### Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?

We accept USDT on TRC-20 (Tron) and ERC-20, BTC, USDC on ERC-20, ETH, LTC and SOL. USDT on Tron is the most common choice in Latin America because fees are low. We do not accept cards, PayPal or Pix. Many buyers in Brazil buy USDT on a local exchange first, then pay us in USDT.

### How fast are proxies delivered after payment?

Proxies are delivered instantly as soon as your top-up is credited on chain. Confirmation time depends on the network: 1 confirmation on Solana, 2 on Bitcoin, 6 on Litecoin, 12 on Ethereum and 20 on Tron. In practice, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) and SOL are the fastest ways to get your credentials.

### Do I need an email address to create an account?

No. You log in with an account number generated at sign-up. Keep it safe, like a password. You can add an email address if you want receipts and a way to recover access, but it is optional. We store only what we need to run the service; see our [privacy policy](https://latamproxies.com/privacy/) for the full list.

## How payment works

Top up once, then buy any product in any country from your balance: residential GB, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile GB. Send the exact amount shown for your top-up, then click “I’ve sent the payment”: the payment is matched automatically. Unused balance never expires and is not refundable.

1. **Top up $25 or more** — Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
2. **Send it to the address shown, on the exact network** — The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
3. **Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how your payment is found and matched to your account automatically. Nothing else to send us.
4. **Credited after the network confirmations** — Your balance is credited once the network has confirmed the transaction. Usual times:
5. **One balance for every product and country** — If you started from a plan, it is bought automatically as soon as the top-up is credited and your proxies are delivered. What is left stays on your balance: use it for any product in any country — residential, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile — paid instantly. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not refundable.

| Crypto | Network | Confirmations | Usual time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Bitcoin | 2 | ≈ 20 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Tron (TRC-20) | 20 | ≈ 1 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| USD Coin (USDC) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Ethereum | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Solana (SOL) | Solana | 1 | ≈ 1 min |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Litecoin | 6 | ≈ 15 min |

## Products and prices

### How much do Latin American residential proxies cost?

Residential traffic starts at $0.50/GB on the largest plan. The smallest plan is 1 GB for $2.63, and 10 GB costs $5.94 ($0.59/GB). The price is the same for every country, from Brazil to Trinidad and Tobago. All tiers are listed on the [pricing page](https://latamproxies.com/pricing/). The small plan is paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance (never expires, non-refundable).

### What is the difference between residential and 4G/5G mobile proxies?

[Residential proxies](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/) route traffic through home internet connections and are billed per GB. [4G/5G mobile proxies](https://latamproxies.com/mobile-proxies/) route traffic through carrier SIM connections. A dedicated port starts at $9/day with unlimited traffic (fair use, no daily GB cap); rotating mobile traffic starts at $1.50/GB. Mobile IPs suit mobile-first sites and app testing; residential suits most scraping and monitoring.

### Which countries can I target?

You can target 38 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, each with its own page. The biggest markets are [Brazil](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/brazil/), [Mexico](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/mexico/), [Argentina](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/argentina/), [Colombia](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/colombia/), [Chile](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/chile/) and [Peru](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/peru/). City targeting is available too, for example [São Paulo](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/brazil/sao-paulo/) or [Mexico City](https://latamproxies.com/residential-proxies/mexico/mexico-city/).

### Does my traffic expire?

Residential and rotating mobile traffic stays valid for 90 days from purchase. Unused gigabytes stay on your balance until then, so you can buy a larger plan at a lower price per GB and use it over several weeks. Dedicated 4G/5G ports are different: they are rented for a period (1 day, 7 days or 30 days) and stop at the end of that period.

## Setup and rotation

### How do I connect to the proxies?

Point your tool to the gateway `gw.latamproxies.com`, port `7777` for HTTP/HTTPS or `7778` for SOCKS5. Targeting goes in the username, for example `USERNAME-country-br-city-sao_paulo`. The [proxy setup guide](https://latamproxies.com/guides/proxy-setup/) has ready-to-copy examples for cURL, Python, Node.js, Playwright and Puppeteer.

### How do rotating and sticky sessions work?

Residential rotation works like this: New IP on every request, or sticky sessions up to 30 minutes. Without a session parameter, each request gets a new IP. Add `-session-abc123-ttl-30` to the username to keep the same IP for up to 30 minutes. Change the session id whenever you want a fresh IP. This lets you rotate per request for crawling and keep one IP for multi-step flows.

### How do I change the IP on a 4G/5G mobile proxy?

Dedicated 4G/5G ports support IP change on demand through an API link, or automatically every 5 to 60 minutes. To rotate on demand, call your port's rotation link, built from `https://latamproxies.com/api/v1/mobile/{port}/rotate?key=API_KEY`, then wait for the modem to reconnect. The [mobile proxy rotation guide](https://latamproxies.com/guides/mobile-proxy-rotation/) shows the full flow in bash, Python and Node.js.

## Rules, refunds and legal questions

### What can I not use the proxies for?

Fraud, carding, account takeover, credential stuffing, spam, DDoS, ban evasion and bulk account creation are forbidden. Bank, government and payment-portal targets are blocked, and outgoing SMTP is blocked. Any abuse leads to termination without refund. The full list is in our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://latamproxies.com/acceptable-use-policy/). Abuse reports go to abuse@latamproxies.com.

### Can I get a refund?

Yes, in a specific case: unused traffic is refundable within 72 hours of purchase if the proxies do not work for your target and support cannot fix it. Write to support@latamproxies.com with the exact amount and date of your top-up (never your account number) and a description of the problem. Support first tries to fix it. Used traffic, expired traffic and accounts closed for abuse are not refunded. The full rules are in our [refund policy](https://latamproxies.com/refund-policy/).

### Is it legal to use proxies in Brazil or Mexico?

Using a proxy is legal in Latin America; what matters is what you do with it. Collecting public prices, listings or search results is a common lawful use. If you collect personal data, you are responsible for complying with laws such as Brazil's LGPD or Mexico's LFPDPPP. Our [terms of service](https://latamproxies.com/terms/) explain your responsibilities.

### How do I contact support or report abuse?

Email support@latamproxies.com for sales and technical support, in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Send abuse reports to abuse@latamproxies.com; we aim to act on them within 24 hours. We do not offer support through social media or messaging apps. Details are on the [contact page](https://latamproxies.com/contact/).
